If I curl up in the corner,
Would the world pass me by?
If I lay on the floor,
Could I watch the birds fly?
They would fly through the trees
I would sit on my knees
and hear their heavenly cries

I would think to myself,
"What on earth am I worth?"
I would think to myself,
"Does anyone care?
                Could anyone love me?
                            Could anyone need me?
         Would anyone care
                     If I sat over there
       And watched the birds fly
   All over the sky?"
The crisp winter air is filled with the flair
Of the birds that I see
Taking control of me
